Engaging with students and their teachers is a meaningful part of what Adirondack Wild does each semester. This winter Dave Gibson and Ken Rimany introduced The Adirondack Park at a Crossroad: A Road Map for Action to a Public Lands class led by a dynamic assistant professor of environmental studies, Andrew J. (AJ) Schneller at Skidmore College in Saratoga.
Prof. Schneller has a strong background in public lands and ecological research in the western U.S. and brings energy and commitment to his teaching.
With the Adirondack Park so nearby, his students have an outstanding outdoor learning laboratory to work from. They asked good questions and have a keen personal and academic interest in the future of the Park.
Glad we could help further their interest.
