Adirondack Wild’s 13th Annual Membership Meeting

Please mark your fall calendar and come join Adirondack Wild at our Annual Meeting of Members and Friends on Friday October 6th at the Adirondack Interpretive Center, College of Environmental Science and Forestry Newcomb Campus.
Our event is free and open to the public. You, your family, and friends are all most welcomed. Come learn more about Adirondack Wild’s activities in the past year and our goals for the year ahead.
Arrival and Registration begins at 10:30 AM. Our program starts at 11:00 AM and will end 3:00 PM. Pease bring your own lunch; we will be providing refreshments.
This year’s special presentations will be:
- Review of Year One of the Timbuctoo Climate and Careers Institute with Paul Hai, Associate Director, ESF Newcomb Campus.
- An address from Tiffany Rea-Fisher, Executive Director, the Adirondack Diversity Initiative. Adirondack Wild is a partner with ADI.
During our event please also help us to welcome and celebrate our 2023 award Honorees:
- Paul Schaefer Wilderness Award to Hon. Steve Englebright, former Chair of the NYS Assembly Environmental Conservation Committee for his 30 years of devotion to improving New Your State’s environmental quality and the quality of life of New York’s residents and visitors.
- Wild Stewardship Award to the staff and board members of the Northeast Wilderness Trust, headquartered in Montpelier, VT, for the organization’s 20-year record of negotiating, acquiring, preserving and connecting wildlands throughout the Adirondacks and the Northern Forest.
