Old Forge, NY – The public is warmly invited to join Adirondack Wild as the organization shares its work for the protection and stewardship of Wilderness and other wild lands of the Adirondack Park through advocacy and education.
Adirondack Wild: Friends of the Forest Preserve holds its 2025 Annual Membership Meeting beginning at 11 AM and concluding at 3:30 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at View Arts Center in Old Forge, NY. View Arts is located at 3273 State Rte. 28 in
Old Forge. The meeting will be held just miles from where our founder, Paul Schaefer and his Adirondack Moose River Committee (1945-1955), saved the Moose River Plains from inundation by large power dams.
